The first time I visited Thailand was back in 1973. I was a young soldier in-the United States Of America Army and Bangkok was my first duty station. Clicking 403 Forbidden maybe provides suggestions you might use with your boss. I was there for 18 months and my first meal back America was a Large Mac, chips and a Coke. Navigating To open in a new browser perhaps provides cautions you might use with your friend. Times have changed and the Thailand countryside is dotted by fast food places. From KFC to McDonalds to Pizza Hut is everywhere. They're not merely in the large cities and tourist area, but occur in smaller towns like Phitsanulok and Khon Kaen. Granted, I'm a junk food junkie back the states, but often in Thailand, I often eat the neighborhood food. Really it is Thai junk food. I choose to eat from the local street vendors that could have a plate ready for you in less-than 1 minute. And, it's a good deal cheaper and nicer than the neighborhood Burger King. But, when I am in Thailand for three or four weeks, ultimately I surrender and need some burgers, fried chicken, or pizza. And, for my Thai lover, it's a particular treat to eat from one of the American "restaurants." When I visit Khon Kaen, I love to eat the new fish in the local restaurants. Bar-B-Que prawn with veggies and rice is all I want for supper. My baby will get some oysters and papaya salad and all is good. Once we come in the room and decide to stay in to watch a DVD movie, she just wants to call the Pizza Company for some pizza and chicken wings. My girlfriend discovered calzone by browsing Google Books. I have the pizza and the wings are devoured by her. Breakfasts are often standard fare of rice and eggs with perhaps a chicken or two. Occasionally it'll be Thai soup or a noodle dish like pad thai. Once in a while we prefer to go to a hotel run by foreigners and they've an "American" breakfast. Meals are snacks for me personally. I prefer to have some chicken or pig BBQ on a stick with some sticky rice. Or, if my girl is in a great mood, she'll drive over to seize and KFC some hot chicken sandwiches. And, needless to say, she gets me the blueberry cheesecake treat. We both appreciate the Khon Kaen restaurants which are across the river or rivers. They have these little, thatched stands with great views. The meals and service is great and some have a band playing regional Thai country music. Therefore, Thailand gets the most readily useful of both worlds. You are able to get any such thing from a pizza to your cheeseburger, or noodles and fried rice. Great food and tremendous charges. To compare more, you may check-out: italian bread. Another reason I enjoy Thailand.Boboli Benelux Energieweg 6-12 3751 LT Bunschoten Nederland T. 0031 (0)33 - 299 68 23
